Annual Horse Show
Every fall the Kanawha County Farm Bureau hosts the annual KCFB Fall Festival Horse Show. Members work year round for this event. Improvements are made to the Camp Virgil Tate facility courtesy of the Kanawha County Farm Bureau in preparation for the show. Stalls are repaired, structures rebuilt or reinforced and maintenance of arena footing and road are all part of what the KCFB does to contribute to keeping the Camp Virgil Tate showgrounds in good working order.
The horse show is a two day event on Friday evening and all day Saturday. Friday evening consists of fun classes. The pet class offers an opportunity for participants that don’t own a horse, but may have another pet, to exhibit and compete.
The date of our next Horse Show: Will be Announced Soon!
Our Previous Horse Shows:
This was the first year of our Horse Show, and its success has been part of the reason for the show's continuance in the years since.
The show was held on September 14, 2012, and while it was only one day long, Our members, friends, and guests all had a wonderful time together.
Horses weren't the only thing pulling weight at our 2014 Fall Festival! Classic Steel Hot Rod Association partnered with us and held a Car Show alongside our Festival. It was a great day of fun and excitement for all the families that came.
Vendors such as Avon and Monograms Plus were also in attendance, and set up booths for visitors to shop from.
